Dreaming of a Nursery
My husband and I found out this week that we are expecting a little boy . . we are so excited to have a new addition to our family. I have had lots of time to think of what I would like to do with a nursery as the room has been mostly empty until the time for a baby. Here is where my dreams have led me . . enjoy my inspiration board.

ReplyDeleteCongratulations! I am also expecting... in May... but the sex will be a surprise (this time- I already have 3 little ones!). I adore your nursery idea board, and totally plan on being inspired by it if a boy comes our way! Can't wait to see it all come together.

ReplyDeleteI just acquired some lace intended for a for this very reason! Although we're still a few months away from having weather warm enough to make such a creation... I'm planning to dye mine too. I want something brighter!
ReplyDeleteI can't decide on to sleeve or not either the pattern I'm using has both. I might do a sleeve to see what it looks like, then decide!
Brittney, I am so excited for you. When your christmas card came with the announcement I wanted to call and congratulate you, but got busy. Your nursery plans look so cute, I hope you post pictures of them when they are all done.

DeleteI can't wait to see your nursery! I am trying to create a similar color scheme for my little man's nursery, but really getting stuck! I can't wait to see yours and see if it rekicks my creatative juices! I am having the hardest time finding a glider and rug. Any suggestions?
ReplyDeleteThere are lots of great places to find rugs . . if you are not already get signed up on Jossandmain.com and onekingslane.com I have bought a couple from there. I bought my rug from dashandalbert.com and just love it! it is also an indoor outdoor rug so it will be easy to keep clean. As far as a glider goes it depends on if you want it to be more comfortable or appealing to the eye, unfortunately I have not found many that have both together. Keep looking online and you will come across one you like! I am just waiting for my rocking chair to get here and then I will post the nursery so hopefully in about a week!
